Challenge
The mall's hybrid structure with both open-air and enclosed shopping zones required a decoration system that was durable in two different environmental conditions while maintaining aesthetic consistency. Weather resistance was a priority for the open zone; high ceilings and visibility were priorities for the enclosed gallery.
Solution
IP65 outdoor systems were used for the open zone and high-brightness indoor LED systems for the enclosed gallery. Transition points between the two zones were designed to maintain visual continuity. The 12-metre atrium was transformed into a special decoration space using a ceiling-suspension technique.
Result
The mall ranked second on Izmir's most visited Christmas decoration spots list. According to social media analysis, the mall's organic mention content quadrupled in December. The tenant satisfaction survey gave decoration quality a score of 8.6 out of 10.
